Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue A. Ellis Taylor is an American producer and actress. She earned an B.A. from African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting at Tisch School of Acting at New York University. Aunjanue Lisa Ellis, a producer as well as an American actor active in the theatre as well as television and film. Her acting journey began with theater, and was later featured in a number of TV shows and independent as well as mainstream movies. The actress gained prominence for her role as Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. In the following year, she made an appearance on BET's epic TV series The Book of Negroes. In 1995, she was the first to appear in the role of Ariel on stage in The Tempest. Stage credits include Come and Gone Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis, a Broadway production by Joe Turner. The most recognizable part of her career is her role in the series Men of Honor, The Caveman's Valentine The Express & The Help. The role she played as a regular on ABC's drama police series High Incident earned her praises.
